Occupational and Physical Therapy Specialties
Our health clinic services work alongside our Occupational and Physical Therapy programs in the Dr. Pallavi Patel School of Rehabilitative Sciences at NSU Health. By sharpening your skills, showing you various methods to complete tasks, or teaching you how to use special equipment, our therapists help you live with greater ease and satisfaction. You can receive evaluations and treatment in the following specialties, which are reasonably priced and covered by many insurance providers.
Our Occupational and Physical Therapists use evidence-based techniques that train the nerves and muscles to more effectively and efficiently perform specific tasks.
Learn to maintain your daily activities with ease. Our Occupational Therapists provide evaluation and treatment for those recuperating from or at risk for a physical or mental illness, including Movement Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Post-Surgical, and more. Our Occupational Therapists will guide you towards reaching your full potential.
Lead a more active lifestyle with the NSU Health's Physical Therapy Clinic. Our physical therapists are movement experts that diagnose and treat patients with injuries, disabilities, or other health conditions, plus those who wish to prevent future problems. Our impressive facilities are the perfect backdrops to help improve your ability to move, reduce pain, and restore function.
Take a step in the right direction with our Sports Medicine and Accident Injury Specialists. Treatments include manual therapy, targeted exercise therapy, biofeedback, blood flow resistance training, traction, electrical stimulation, and more.
NSU Health helps with movement disorders, such as Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis. We’ll develop a comprehensive plan that helps improve and maintain function, as well as manage symptoms.
